T Minus Zero...
Well, it's finally here. Our biennial exercise wraps up at 8pm tonight. Tonight's high stakes poker for the Jones clan, as the results of the Gubernatorial election could determine where I am employed come January. And it's a bit of an understatement to say things look a tad grim.
But please folks, while I understand the ennui that leads folks to spit out "bah, a pox on both their houses" a la RW over at Chasing Vincenzo, there are candidates out there worth supporting.
And even if you think there aren't, blanks are understood by politicians. It's like Geddy Lee says, even if you choose not to decide you still have made a choice.
As for me, it's once more into the breach, dear friends, once more, or fill the wall up with our (Republican) dead...
And, hey, someone's got to vote against cheap wine at grocery stores and keep our Commonwealth safe for purveyors of fine amber-colored adult beverages.
